How People Earn their Living?
Most people in the village practice farming which includes both cattle farming and the agricultural farming. The main cash crop of the people out here is big cardamom followed by other crops like Ginger, maize, paddy and other green vegetables. Most of the people are daily wage labor and only the small proportion of population are engaged in other services like government and private jobs.
Natural Vegetation and the scenic beauty.
Being the Rural place diverse range of flora and fauna is found here. The major trees found here are Alnus Nepalensis, Schima, Castronopsis, Choerospondias axillaris, Juglans regia, Saurauria napaulensis etc. and is also the habitat of various wild animals, insects, birds and butterflies. As being most of the part of village, is covered by forest, it can be viewed as the hub for people who love to enjoy nature and study them. The massive Cardamom fields can help the researchers to have a intense study of the same cash crop.
While listening to the birds chippering in the early morning, Pleasant rhythmic sound of the river, Sedate moment of the wind, it feels that nature wants to depict the unseen beauty of paradise. in the summer the fast flowing river wakes up the people in the early morning and jogs the memory about the dreams and aspirations.

Being Festivals the integral part of human civilization it can never be separated from the peoples life. It is also a means to unite the human race and to have a peaceful life. In the mentioned village -"Radhu" all the Nepalese and tribal festivals are celebrated. Apart from these, national festivals and religious festivals are also celebrated with great happiness and enthusiasm.

Water Garden. Located approximately 8km towards east from Dentam bazar lies a beautiful water garden on the bank of Hee Khola. It is a pleasant place where one can enjoy the nature while swimming.

Statue of Mahatma Sirijunga. This is the Tallest Idol of Mahatma Sirijunga(36 ft.) which is located at the top of Hee Bazar. Being fortunate to receive his blessings one can have a majestic view of nearby places, district headquarter as well as some portion of Mt. Kangchenjunga. Singshore Bridge: It is the highest suspension bridge in Sikkim and second highest in Asia located approximately 5km from Dentam bazar. It is has a height of 100 mts. and length of approximately 200 mts. It connects the two beautiful village Dentam and Uttaray.
